COVID-19 Policies

Like our vasectomy patients, we're taking extra precaution.


Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the Vasectomy Center has taken unprecedented action to provide all patients with the safest and most personalized care possible.

Our workflows and policies have changed until further notice. Specifically, we have made the following adjustments:

  • Patient requesting vasectomy consults have the option to meet remotely via telemedicine. Our state-of-the-art telemedicine solution is fully encrypted, not recorded, and meets all HIPPA standards. There is no “App” to install and the session is easily accessed on our site or a provided link.
  • For all vasectomy procedures, the Vasectomy Center is providing private surgery time. This concierge service ensures that each patient will avoid interactions with other patients. Patients will be scheduled in time slots that allow them to go directly to the exam room, bypassing the waiting room, and then check-in, update insurance, pay bills, and sign consents on a tablet while in the private exam room setting.
  • The office will be medically sanitized between each patient with medical-grade disinfectant (we stocked up on these supplies just in time!).
  • Some elective type visits are on hold to maintain our current privacy/sanitation practices.


To give you and our other patients this level of service we need your help!

  1. Do not come to the office if you personally have fever, respiratory symptoms, fatigue, cough, muscle aches, or loss of taste or smell.
  2. Do not come to the office if you have traveled to a COVID-19 “hot spot” or have exposure to any person who is sick with any of the above symptoms or is quarantined due to concern for COVID-19.
  3. New and established patients are asked to use “Pre-Visit” to securely provide health history and demographic data, which can be accessed via a smart phone or computer (we'll supply a link before your visit). Information provided via Pre-Visit will allow for a seamless check-in the day of your office visit.
  4. Please empty your bladder before you leave the house.
  5. Please bring and wear a mask while in the office.
  6. Bring ID, insurance card, and payment card to every visit.
  7. Upon arrival please call the office (860) 430-5773 to let us know you are outside. When we are ready for you, we will call you back to ask you to proceed to the door.
  8. After you are no-touch temperature screened you will be lead to a room. Don’t worry, getting through all that will be the hardest part of your visit!


Stay safe but be sure to use your extra time home on the couch effectively!
